1915, World War I rages in Europe ... but it is a war of wizards, dragons, vampires and magic as much as a war of bullets and barbed wire. Join young Fletcher Arrowsmith as he joins up in search of adventure and glory, training to become an airman -- one of the flying wizards that fight in the skies above the trenches. But what Fletcher discovers in the battlegrounds of Gallia is far more, and far worse, than he ever dreamed.
