“The oxygen and hydrogen will now have the honor of combining before Your Majesty.” – Professor John Henry Pepper In a world that never was but should have been, steam rules the sea, the skies and the aether. Amid a cacophony of cranking sprockets and cogs, in chuffs of steam and soot, "Clockwork Kiru: Steampunk Haiku" looks to the future through the lens of the past - through the imagistic language of haiku. In this anthology of steampunk haiku, fifty authors take the reader on a fantastical, around-the-world adventure with haiku of mystery, magic, science and romance.
