A major focus of this study was on the residential patterns in urban areas and the factors contributing to changes in the neighborhood. 678 respondents were questioned about their contacts with their friends, relatives, neighbors and co-workers. Their attitudes on blacks as neighbors and as co-workers were also ascertained. Demographic information as well as measures of job satisfaction and the use of leisure time were also included.
