"An excellent overview and analysis of one of the public initiatives with more international impact that has been developed in town planning in Chile. The book is a successful compendium of texts of outstanding personalities of the intellectual, artistic and academic worlds and the area of town planning, who from different perspectives analyzed the international competition "Área de Remodelación en el Centro de Santiago de Chile" (Area of remodeling in the center of Santiago de Chile), organized in 1972 by the Government of Chile and by the Corporación de Movimiento Urbano (CORMU). The relevance of the book of Professor Pavez is such that, it has been included in an outstanding exhibition held at the Museum of Modern Art in New York (MOMA) during March to July 2015, titled "Latin America in Construction: Architecture 1955-1980". Through a rigourous curatorship of documents, graphics, plans, etc." (Our translation)--Page 5.
