"Publication of three essays selected from 20 submitted in celebration of the 230th anniversary of the birth of this son of Nuevo León. Essays examine the priest's life, works, and intellectual preoccupations in detail and chronological order. Useful resource for students and scholars of this notable figure"--Handbook of Latin American Studies, v. 58.
