"In this book of blends, Michel Delon's cross-cutting ideas create circuits, connections, sometimes lines of wanderings or discrepancies. They awaken echoes everywhere among these studies which are offered to him. One can read there works on the authors who have interested him all his life, Diderot, Sade, André Chénier, Crébillon, Casanova, on the phenomena and the currents literary and cultural which had his predilection, libertinage, the Enlightenment." --Translated from the back cover.
