Júlio Roberto Katinsky was an architect of monumental projects and an academic and Director of the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism. Little is known about his activities as designer or as design theorist and design historian. The present book presents some of his essays on these topics. In this anthology are some texts that maintain a prolific dialogue with reflections on industrial design and on various modalities of crafts. Purposely, the selection comprises texts on architecture or projects that Katinsky carried out." (HKB Translation) --Page 16.
