Amber V. Nicole’s The Book of Azrael launches the Gods and Monsters series with a dark, romantic epic of power, sacrifice, and ancient relics. Dianna, a shapeshifter bound to a tortured God King named Kaden, must hunt forgotten artifacts while evading creatures that stalk her across realms. Originally self-published in 2022 and now re-released by Kensington, this viral BookTok favorite blends slowburn romance, monstrous lore, and high-stakes fantasy into a 608-page saga of survival and desire.
