Soon after moving into Mexton Grange, an old Georgian country house in the Cotswolds, Alice hears disquieting stories and rumours about her new abode: the previous owners had been driven out by a strange, oppressive atmosphere in the house. It was not as if the house was ACTUALLY haunted - rather, it was as if the house was WAITING TO BE HAUNTED ...! These five stories of terror and the macabre by John Glasby will tingle the spine on any dark and stormy night.
