Arranged for woodwind trio (flute, oboe and bassoon) from the more than 100 baryton trios that Haydn wrote for his patron Prince Esterhazy, this is the Allegro di molto movement from Trio No. 66. The rhythms are identical to Haydn's original, only the key has been changed. There are numerous other arrangements in this series mostly for flute, oboe and clarinet. Other trios in this series include: Trio No. 31, 56, 83, 85, 87, 94, 95, 97, 100, 104, 115, 116, 124 and 126.
