Eusebius Pamphilus Bishop of Caesarea in Palestina wrote ten books. Socrates Scholasticus of Constantinople wrote seven books. Evagrius Scholasticus of Antioch wrote six books. Whereunto is annexed Dorotheus Bishop of Tyrus, of the lives and ends of the prophets, apostles, and LXX. disciples.
